Set up alerts from the map

If you’d rather tap than type, you can manage your alerts from the map. It’s the same set of alerts the bot commands change, so you can mix both ways.

Register first

The map can only manage your alerts once you’re registered with the bot (see how). If you aren’t, the map tells you that you may not be registered.

Open the Alert Manager

1. Open the map, log in, and tap the orange menu button (☰) to open the sidebar.
2. Open the Alerts section and choose Poracle.
3. The Alert Manager opens. It shows the alerts you already have, by category.

Add an alert

1. In the Alert Manager, pick a category: Pokémon, raids, eggs, quests, invasions…
2. Tap the button to add a new alert of that kind (Add New … Alert).
3. Choose what you want and adjust its options, such as IV, distance or size.
4. Save. The alert works straight away, and /tracked in the bot lists it too.

Location, areas and profiles

The Alert Manager also lets you set your location and areas (the same as /location and /area), and switch or create profiles with Manage Profiles.
